Ladies, it's time to steam up the game with a facial steam. Steam will open up your clogged pores and help your skin breathe better. To start off, boil some water in a vessel. Add 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to it. Cover your head with a thick towel and the steam from the vessel work its magic on your skin. You can also use a regular steamer for this purpose.

2. Hydrate your skin

While it's festive season, we all are wrapping up with a catalogue of work at office and home. In such a situation, ensure that you stay hydrated throughout the day. You should drink 8-12 glasses of water each day. You should also not forget to hydrate your skin with a good topical hydrating serum right before bedtime to wake up with soft and hydrated skin the next morning.

3. Scrub it off

Scrubbing on the face is essential. But, you should not neglect your body when it comes about getting a soft, glowing skin. Use a good body scrub to remove those dead skin cells and shine in your stunning wardrobe from head to toe. You can use my favourite body scrub from The Body Shop (British Rose) or make one at home.

4. Milk Cleansing

On the day of Diwali, you must clean your face with a milk-based cleanser or massage your face with raw milk for a few minutes after cleaning it off with your regular face wash. Wipe it off using clean facial tissues and massage your skin with ice-cubes wrapped in a clean cotton cloth. This will help your skin to control the sweat produced after applying the makeup.

5. Think before you eat

Besides, these simple skincare tips, never forget to remove all your makeup before sleeping. You would definitely not want to wake up with a pimple or two the next day!
