Little Pimples On Forehead Won't Go? Here's How To Treat Them in 1 week!

small pimples on face

Tired of those little bumps on your forehead (or face) that won't pop? You must have possibly tried a hundred creams by now to combat the problem but have not bored any results. Well, you are not alone! These tiny pimples are your regular pimples that will go away with time, this is what they call as Fungal Acne. Yes, you read that right!

I know there must be tons of questions revolving around your mind, how did this fungus come to my face, I have a healthy lifestyle and skin care routine, then why?

All I'd like to say is, I feel you! I am sailing in the same boat where I have infinite tiny bumps all over my face and nothing worked for me! When I say nothing, it covers all the medications from my dermatologist to the popular drug-store anti-acne/anti-fungal creams that claim to treat this situation.
No matter how much we emphasise on loving ourselves the way we are, but in the end, how we look externally do affect our state of mind. I do suffer from dandruff and could connect the dots. Additionally, there were a couple of new products I was trying for my skincare which I believe had lead to this state of skin going haywire. You will have to figure out what's your cause and eliminate that from your life to heal this fungal acne completely.

That's too much of talking now, let's get to the point where I figured out the way to treating this acne and I saw measurable difference in my own skin in just a week of practise.
Let's get started!

The Secret Spice

turmeric for face

The answer to all our beauty related issues lie right in our kitchen's cabinet. In this case, it was turmeric! Yes! Turmeric!

Turmeric is known for its anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. I'm certain you must have heard the benefits of turmeric from your mom a million times, be it for the topical use or consumption. I decided to use turmeric and for a week to see if could help me out. This is what I did -

The Potent Water

To make this potent water, you need one glass of lukewarm water. Now, add 1/4 teaspoon of kitchen turmeric into it, followed by a pinch of pepper and honey. Dicey about the taste? Well, it tastes okayish. Ensure you keep stirring this water as turmeric tends to settle down in the glass in a couple of seconds. We have added pepper in it to enhance the absorption of turmeric's benefits. Honey is absolutely optional and has been added for taste. You may also squeeze half a lemon into this mixture to make it better for your taste buds. A pro-tip would be to simply chug it.

The Ultimate Face Mask

While the potent water will work it's magic from within, I wanted to give this a push by incorporating turmeric for my skincare, hence, I prepared this face mask.
To make this face mask, add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1 tablespoon honey in a bowl. Now add a pinch of turmeric to this. Mix it well and it's ready to be applied.
Clean your face first and cover yourself to avoid any stains. Now, start massaging this mask on your problem areas for a minute. Leave it for 15-20 minutes and wash off. Do this once a day and you are sorted.

The Topical Confession

nizoral anti dandruff shampoo for pimples

Okay, this is a mini-secret! There's a topical treatment that you can swear by if you have fungal acne and that's this bottle of shampoo - Nizoral. Nizoral is an anti-fungal shampoo that's used to treat dandruff. Now how do we use it for our acne? Simply wash your face and apply a thin layer of this shampoo onto the affected area and leave it for 5-7 minutes. Wash it off with warm water. Do this once everyday till your acne is cleared.

While this topical solution may sound like the easiest tactic of all, keep in mind that it's not really meant for your skin but your scalp and a longer use of this product will damage and dry out your skin. Hence, you should prefer treating your skin using natural remedies and inside out.
